Amritha Kailas is a trained Veena instrumentalist, Carnatic vocalist, Music (Veena & Vocal) teacher.
She learnt Veena under the guidance of her Guru,the renowned Carnatic musician and Veena Maestro Prof Sri V. Balakrishna Potti for 18 years . She considers herself also blessed to have learnt Carnatic Vocal from renowned Carnatic musicians Sri Chembai Kothandarama Iyer, and advanced vocal lessons from Sangeetha Kalanidhi Late Sri T. K Govinda Rao and currently learning under Prof Sri Chembai Venkitaraman Iyer.
